Monumento a General Vara de Rey (Passeig Vara de Rey, Ibiza Town, Ibiza) – this monument, located on a street of the same name, was inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII in 1902, and commemorates the Ibiza-born Spanish military leader (who presided over the Spanish defense of El Caney, Cuba during the Spanish-American War in 1898).
