Banys Arabs (Arab Baths) (Carrer Can Serra 7, Palma, Mallorca) – this is one of Palma’s older structures: a 10th century public bathhouse from the Moorish occupation of Mallorca. This is all that remains of their presence in Palma (known as the city of Medina Mayurqa during the Moorish period). This is a square room with 12 columns that support the copula with various round apertures. This room was used for the hot baths and there is double floor with alcoves through which the hot water and steam traveled. Admission: €2.
